Only approved ATCs can take positions and stand on guard. These approvals are issued on a national level and by local vACCs. Air Traffic Controllers can control in other vACCs but only with an approval. Here is a list of members cleared to take positions within Zagreb's area. Due to the implementation of the Global Rating Policy (GRP), Student 1's can work only Delivery and Ground, Student 2's can work Tower or below, Student 3`s Approach or below and Controller rated students control Radar or below.

Visiting ATCs from another vACC are free to take Guard upon approval. Such approval can be gained if authorized by a member of the Training Department and after a Controller Practical Test is performed.
